DOULA SERVICES

Birth Doula

· A no obligation and free of charge consultation to get to know each other, ask questions and find out how I can support you & your partner. This consult may be done virtually, or in my home, located in New Bern, North Carolina. 

· Unlimited texts, emails and phone calls throughout your pregnancy.

·24 hour on call support from 37 weeks pregnant until birth.

·7 birth education classes to build on your birth knowledge, coping skills, decision making skills, and to discuss your inner desires for birth and motherhood- 1 hour each

.A digital and hard copy of the work book we will complete together over the course of your birth classes. 

·Tools to build your partner's support skills plus physical & emotional support for your partner during labor and birth.

·Massage and breathing techniques to increase natural coping mechanisms.

· Assistance with creating a personalized birth plan.

· Guided meditations to help you bond with baby, prepare for birth and heal after birth.

· Help with creating a comfortable and safe birthing environment.

·Use of relaxation and meditation playlists.

·Help with relaxation, visualization, and breathing skills.

·Help avoid unnecessary interventions, decision making skills and support for you to advocate for yourself.

· Active Birth movements to help labor progress, aid physical comfort, minimize fatigue and boost self-confidence.

· One 2-3 hour Postpartum visit to discuss your birth experience, basic newborn care & breastfeeding info and gain professional referrals if needed.

Your investment in me includes everything listed above 

$1100

A $350 non-refundable deposit is due at the time of booking. This is to secure I am available the month your baby is due. I only take on 3 births per month. Your deposit insures that I do not book another client in your place. Your deposit will not be refunded for any reason.

The remaining balance is due within 3 weeks of your due date. Any amount paid after your deposit may be refunded in the event you decide to cancel- BEFORE 37 weeks.

In the event that COVID restrictions remain at a level that I am unable to attend your birth, no refund will be provided. I will offer as much home support as I can before you head to the hospital.

Postpartum Doula

​

As a postpartum doula, I provide in home support for you in the first few weeks of your baby's life. 

This can include, but is not limited to 

  • meal prepping 

  • laundry 

  • light housework 

  • basic newborn care 

  • cloth diaper assistance 

  • breastfeeding support 

  • sibling care

Postpartum care is $25/hour with a minimum of 12 hours (does not need to be all in one day)
