Jackie was so amazing during my pregnancy. I loved all of the classes she gave us, even as a second time mother it was great getting a refresher. She gave us great birthing techniques that I didn’t know my first time around which made a world of deference. Even though I wasn’t able to do a natural birth she was still there for my husband and I giving us support. I’m so grateful we had her as our dula! We felt alone and she made so we weren’t, if you need a doula who feels like a family member 100% recommend Jackie!!
I honestly do not think we would have had the amazing labor and delivery we had if it had not been for Jackie. She is an incredible Doula!! Don’t hesitate, book her while you still can! I had so much fear about L&D until Jackie came into our lives. She provided so much education and support, and left me feeling like I could absolutely have the unmedicated birth, calm and relaxed birth I wanted. She gave me so much confidence. She also gave my hubby the tools he needed to be a great birth partner. She even cooked us a delicious meal when we came home from the hospital!! I’m so grateful to have her as our Doula.
Once I found out I was pregnant, I had a lot of anxiety especially during COVID and being far away from home and not having my family here for my first child. I was advised to seek out a doula! After doing some research I met with Jackie and right away felt we had known each other for awhile:) I felt very comfortable with her! I attended the education classes she provided and learned so much which I think helped tremendously with my anxiety of labor! It help prepare me for all possibilities of labor/birth.
My labor didn’t go as planned and sadly COVID restrictions prevented Jackie to be at the hospital but with the teachings she gave and the help of Jackie during postpartum care (meal prep, cleaning ect.) and the help of my husband. I think are big contributors to why I didn’t experience postpartum depression. I can’t thank Jackie enough for going over and beyond to support me during these unprecedented times with having a baby during COVID restrictions!
Jackie Ryan was born to help bring babies earthside! When I found out I was pregnant, I immediately set up interviews for a doula. I knew I needed the support since I’m so far from any family. I also knew I wanted someone who would support an unmedicated natural birth. And when I met Jackie, she was all that and more. Our first meeting lasted hours as if we knew each other for years, we just clicked. I could feel her passion radiate off of her and I knew she would tirelessly advocate for me. She has taught me so much about my body, my pregnancy, and my birth. Each and every lesson she went through gave me the eduction I needed to go into my birth fully prepared. Jackie also made sure my husband was involved so when the time came she wouldn’t replace him but just be there for us both.
December 12th was when the show began, Aurora was on the way. Jackie made sure to stay in constant communication with my husband and I so she could be there at the pivotal point of my labor. I called her once my contractions were about 3mins apart and she was there in a blink of an eye. When she arrived she was right to work and started attending me. She helped me with breath work and relaxing through contractions. I was thankful she was there but my husband was “through the roof.” Jackie’s presence helped calm his nerves and he fed off her energy. If she was calm then he knew to stay calm. I knew with them both at my side everything would be okay. A few hours past and boom! My daughter made her way earthside! Jackie stayed a bit after birth just to make sure we were doing fine. Once we were finally settled she headed home and took my placenta with her. I chose to have her photograph my birth and to encapsulate my placenta. I was thrilled with my experience with Jackie. She brought a sense of family to my pregnancy and birth since my family couldn’t be here. She didn’t replace my family but in my eyes, she will always “be” apart of our family. I was so blessed to have her there for me. Thank you Jackie for giving me the education, love, support, and confidence I needed to bring my little girl into this world. You’re truly Gods gift to us women.
Jackie was my absolute rock through my labor and birth with my daughter! I contacted her only about 2 months before my due date when Covid restrictions lightened up a bit and I was so blessed she was able to take me on and provide her doula services. Being in a foreign country with so much uncertainty and not much family for support, having Jackie on my team was a godsend. Through the labor process she helped me make level headed and informed decisions and was right by my side encouraging me through every contraction reminding me how amazing and strong I was. Jackie is all any woman could ask for in a doula! Ladies we all need a Jackie in our delivery room. We met pretty late in my pregnancy (barely 2 weeks before my baby was born!) I couldn’t afford a doula and she offered to give me a sliding scale birth which means I pay what I can. There are not words for how incredibly greatful I am for everything she has done for me and my family. I arrived here in Okinawa Aug 2020 with no friends or family and because of COVID no one could come here. Its because of her guidance (via speaker phone) I was able to labor at home for the first 12ish hours of my labor and when I got to the hospital I was already 8cm dilated!! They rushed me into a room and my husband called Jackie to tell her what was going on next thing I know I’m MEETING Jackie in the midst of my labor! What an introduction! She came in and was immediately asking me how I was doing and giving me the guidance I needed to have my dream birth of an unmedicated labor and delivery! Her services don’t stop in the hospital room she came to visit me at home to check on me and baby postpartum. She truly cares about her clients. Honestly if you are debating wether or not to hire her stop debating it she is going to help you and educate you in things you didn’t know you needed to be educated about prior to labor but you’ll be thinking about them like what position might make the most sense to push in! I’m sure if you hire her you will have the best birth experience you could ever ask for!
I had an amazing experience with Jackie as my doula. I booked her fairly early on in my pregnancy and was so glad I did. We went through several classes on both pregnancy and the birth process that made me feel more confident and informed in the decisions I was making. It was also a relief to have someone I could ask questions to when something happened that made me unsure or anxious both during pregnancy and postpartum, she would either tell me it was completely normal or that I should probably call the MICC to ask for further direction.
My husband and I are also dual-mil with crazy schedules but she was fantastic at being flexible, she would either come to my place or we would do classes virtually which really helped. I ended up having an incredibly fast birth so we weren’t at the hospital long but Jackie made it just in time to give me needed motivation while pushing and to take pictures that I will cherish forever. I highly recommend Jackie if you are searching for a doula!
I contacted Jackie months ago when I found out I was pregnant. Not only did she allow me to book her months away from my due date, but she kept in contact with me and even checked in with me several times as I got closer to my due date to make sure I was ok. Going into it I figured I’d just be getting my placenta capsules but what I got was so much more. My bag was filled with tons of goodies that I can’t wait to use. And her turn around time was beyond amazing. My doula dropped my placenta off to Jackie yesterday just hours after I gave birth and Jackie had my placenta ready today before I was released from the hospital. And yes she delivered directly to the hospital which was a God send since the weather was not what I was expecting it to be and we live a good distance from each other. I would not hesitate to recommend Jackie to another expecting momma or even use her for myself if I ever decide to have another baby (let’s hope not ).
I can not say enough good things about Jackie, She was the best doula and support person I could have had besides my husband throughout not only my pregnancy and labor but also for postpartum. It was extremely hard for me to not have my mom here since I am a first time mom and also a young mom at that but having Jackie there for me every step of the way helped me way more than I could imagine. She is the most down to earth and selfless person that I have met. Jackie also encapsulated my placenta as well and helped me with understanding all the benefits that come with taking it but most importantly she helped put my mind at ease and answer all the questions I had. If it wasn’t for her I honestly don’t know how I would’ve gotten through my pregnancy and labor without her. I can not recommend her enough!
What can I say about Jackie. I hired her for placenta encapsulation, and her knowledge in lactation. When I first thought about encapsulating my placenta I was on the fence so I spoke with Jackie about the benefits and her process with encapsulating them. She put my doubts at ease. I ended up encapsulating it. What she offers with her packages is amazing , and it’s a really good deal. I was very impressed with her work.
The day I got out of the hospital I contacted Jackie and told her my concerns and where I would like to go with my breast feeding journey, and we were on the same page. She came over and she gave me a wealth a knowledge and made very comfortable with my breast feeding journey.

We loved Jackie and can’t recommend her enough for her doula services!! She originally met with us for a free consultation to talk over her services and make sure that we were compatible. Right off the bat I loved how relatable Jackie was and it was what really drew me to her. Due to COVID, I didn’t hire her until later on in my pregnancy (around 28 weeks), but I wish I had hired her sooner. She offered several classes that covered pregnancy, birth, labor positions, post partum, and breastfeeding. She listened to all of our wants and needs and didn’t try to push us on anything we didn’t want. She helped me draft a birth plan, checked in with me before and after appts and just periodically to see how I was doing & feeling, and worked with my husband on his questions and concerns and showing him different ways to support and help me cope through labor as well. She spent all day with us at home from the start of my labor even through a small typhoon, encouraging me and making sure I was fed and hydrated. Unfortunately due to COVID and current restrictions, she was not able to go with us to the hospital. Even though she wasn’t with us at the hospital, she was only a phone call/text/FaceTime away and still helped educate us through any challenges we were faced with. Post partum she came to check up on us and make sure that breastfeeding was going well. Don’t let COVID or current restrictions stop you, even though Jackie couldn’t be present with us, she really presented us with the confidence and empowerment we needed going into this journey as first time parents.
Jackie was an amazing Doula! I hired her a few weeks prior to delivery (thanks Covid) but she still managed to make sure we got comfortable with eachother and she covered all the basics about childbirth, postpartum and breastfeeding. She made me feel really empowered in bringing my natural birth plan to life and advocating for myself.
I ended up being in labor for 50 hours and she was there with me at the onset of mt labor and once I was in active labor, cheering me on, making sure I was fed and well hydrated, consistently working through every contraction with me and just overall supporting me. She also taught my husband a bunch of positions and things that he could do to help me during labor and he took good note of it all and it REALLY helped when I was in labor at the times she wasn't able to be there. She also captured some amazing shots of my labor experience which was a great plus!
We got along so well because she was so transparent and supportive. I HIGHLY recommend working with Jackie!
Jackie encapsulated my placenta. She was extremely affordable and provided amazing service. She picked up my placenta within an hr of my birth (at 2am) and dropped off the capsules as soon as they were ready. She also included placenta prints and a couple of other cute things! I would definitely recommend her to anyone who is interested in encapsulating their placenta.
Jackie provided outstanding services! She was able to meet at the hospital for the placenta with little advanced notice as my bundle of joy came early and was born in the middle of the night. She made the placenta pills immediately so I didn't have to delay starting the extra iron and good things that they do for the body. When you have a newborn you don't want to have to run errands or pick anything up which is why I also chose Jackie for the services because she delivers! She does everything and makes it easy and stress free! Plus the pills come in a cute jar with a lid so you can easily put them in your refrigerator. I would definitely recommend Jackie. I had an amazing experience with her! She was very supportive and encouraging during the birth of my son. Along with being there during my sons birth she also encapsulated my placenta. I wasn't aware of all the benefits of it but Jackie informed me and educated me. She delivered my capsules back to me before I was discharged from the hospital!
Jackie is literally amazing and comforted me in so many ways during my pregnancy. She encapsulated my placenta and had my pills back to me ready within 24 hours. She taught me how beneficial it is and all the ways it would benefit my body. So appreciative of her!
Jackie has been my breastfeeding guru for the past few weeks. Ever question or concern I have, she has the answers for it. Super supportive, educated & understanding (I’ve asked atleast over 100 questions) no matter what time or day, she responds quickly & with a full answer. I’ve expressed how much I want to continue breastfeeding but lately have been doubting myself due to numerous reasons, if it wasn’t for her I would’ve given up on my journey completely. She’s kept me strong & educated on things I knew little to nothing about. Thank you Jackie I appreciate you so much!
